International Soft Fruit Conference – Thursday 10 January 2019

BVB Substrates and Delphy will organize the ninth ‘International Soft Fruit Conference’ in ‘s Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands on Thursday 10 January 2019. The ISFC 2019 will include a wide range of presentations that cover many different aspects of the soft fruit industry. Simultaneously to the presentations we will have an exhibition where soft fruit related companies and organizations present their newest developments and services. 



Following the conference, we will organize a Conference Dinner on Thursday evening and a Field Trip on Friday.

Please note that, on request of many visitors, we have changed the hotel. We have made special arrangements with the Van der Valk Hotel in Vught. This will also be the location for the Conference Dinner on Thursday evening.

In 2018 we had 750 attendees, originating from over 40 different countries, what makes the ISFC ‘the place to be’ for everyone who is involved in the soft fruit industry!


Participation at the International Soft Fruit Conference costs € 100,- pp (incl VAT). This includes lunch and beverages during the entire day. After registering you will automatically be linked through to the payment procedure. You will receive a confirmation and a visitor pass by mail. Please print your visitor pass and bring it with you to the conference.

Conference Dinner

Like the previous years, we will organize a conference dinner again in 2019. This conference dinner will take place on Thursday evening after the conference and will be open for ISFC participants only.

The conference dinner will be held at the Van der Valk Hotel in Vught (please note that this is NOT the same location as before), starting at 19.30 hours.

For hotel details, please check at ‘where to stay’. Joining the conference dinner costs € 45,- per person. Registration is required to obtain access to the conference dinner. You can register for the dinner at the visitor registration form. We will deal with the registrations for the conference dinner in order or receipt.

1931 Congrescentrum Brabanthallen is easy to reach by car, it is about one hour driving from Apeldoorn, Amsterdam, Dan Haag, Bergen op Zoom, Venlo, Roermond, Rotterdam and Antwerpen.

A2 from Utrecht

Follow the instruction to ‘s-Hertogenbosch. When you are at the transition take the A59 in the direction Waalwijk – ‘s-Hertogenbosch Noord Centrum, and follow signs ‘Brabanthallen’. Take the exit ‘s-Hertogenbosch Centrum – Maaspoort – Brabanthallen. After that you take the exit and take the left road to the Maaspoortweg. Follow that road till the Zanduigerstraat, take the first road on your left tot the Diezenkade. After that you take the second exit on your right, the Oude Engelenseweg. On your right you will see 1931 Congrescentrum Brabanthallen.

A2 from Eindhoven

Follow the instruction to ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Keep at exit ‘s-Hertogenbosch Centrum the right direction, Tilburg Centrum – ring ‘s-Hertogenbosch West. At the beginning of the village ‘s-Hertogenbosch take the Vughterweg. Keep left to Wilhelminaplein. At Wilhelminaplein go left twice. Follow that road to the Vlijmenseweg. Go right at Onderwijsboulevard. Go straight ahead to stay at the Onderwijsboulevard. Take at the interchange, the second exit to Copernicuslaan. At the Oude Vlijmenseweg go right. Follow that road to the Oude Engelenseweg. On your left you will see 1931 Congrescentrum Brabanthallen.

A2 from Nijmegen

Follow the instruction to ’s-Hertogenbosch – Heesch- Oss on the A-59. Follow the exit Rosmalen – Berlicum – ‘s-Hertogenbosch-Centrum and P+R Transferium. Follow the signs to s-Hertogenbosch – Centrum. Follow that way to De Grote Elst. Follow that way to Stadionlaan. When you arrived at the interchange go straight ahead. Follow that way to Aartshertogenlaan. Stay on that road till you reach the Orthenseweg and go left. Follow that way to Diezebrug. Go right at the Boschdijkstraat. The Boschdijkstraat turns slightly right and becomes Veemarktweg. Follow the road to Oude Engelenseweg. On your right you will see 1931 Congrescentrum Brabanthallen.

Public transport

1931 Congrescentrum Brabanthallen is on a walking distance of the central station of ‘s-Hertogenbosch. You can reach 1931 Congrescentrum Brabanthallen in about 12 minutes walking from the central station. When you are at the station take the exit ‘Brabanthallen’ and follow the signs ‘Brabanthallen’.
